During recent months, several customers in Sydney asked for our services. Excited by that opportunity, we decided to make the jump to New South Wales a bit earlier than planned and open an office in Sydney. ‘Sydney has been warm and welcoming to us’, said Bernhard Mueller. ‘But that’s not the only reason for us to open an office in Sydney and start hiring people there’. Together with our office in Melbourne, foryouandyourcustomers can address the needs of our customers in Australia better and find the right experts faster.
Less than a year ago foryouandyourcustomers opened its operations in Melbourne with Bernhard Mueller as CEO. He mentioned already back then ‘Companies in Australia and New Zealand can utilise the group’s European expertise’. Many Australians and local companies appreciated that step, as demonstrated by the initial engagements and customer projects. The sophisticated tools help with the strategic development of omni/multi channel, and the technological expertise in Stibo STEP, SAP Hybris, Bloomreach, and Fredhopper is sought after in the local market. To build our local organisation, foryouandyourcustomers is hiring Australians who benefit from the group’s broad expertise.
‘With offices in both Melbourne and Sydney we can stay closer to our Australian customers and service them better’.
‘New joiners can work in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands for a few weeks or months. Combined with formal training, that on-the-job experience provides them with expertise that is rarely available in Australia. In addition, modern collaboration technologies like Video Conferencing, Messaging and collaboration platforms, and a general intent to assist each other helps with rapid learning’ said Randeep Gandhi, Master Data Management Consultant. Randeep studied at the RMIT in Melbourne and gained work experience in various IT jobs before joining foryouandyourcustomers in October 2018.
Jonathan Moeller, founder of foryouandyourcustomers, positively acknowledged that Sydney and Melbourne are both different and similar: ‘The amount of collaboration between both cities is surprisingly large. I meet Melbournians in Sydney and Sydneysider in Melbourne’. Bernhard adds: ‘After winning several customers in Sydney, we are now progressing to the next chapter of our journey: With offices in both Melbourne and Sydney we can stay closer to our Australian customers and service them better’.
