The team of foryouandyourcustomers Sofia is looking for a Back-End Developer (java)
To support our team in Sofia, in the area of Software Engineering, we are looking for a Back-End Developer (Java). Our team of over 160 experts in the foryouandyourcustomers group supports our clients in their digital transformation at 15 locations across Europe.
Our Sofia team researches, designs, develops, and integrates a wide range of solutions, including information systems, e-commerce platforms, PIM systems, MDM platforms, websites, and more.
All foryouandyourcustomers locations operate with a high degree of independence, allowing each team to develop its own portfolio and capabilities, while still collaborating closely across locations. In Sofia, we are currently a team of 16 experts, primarily focused on software engineering and technical consultancy.
Each of our locations is intentionally limited to a maximum of 25 people. This keeps our teams agile, ensures direct communication and a flat hierarchy, and at the same time allows us to benefit from the strength of our international network of cells.
Your Profile
General programming knowledge – object oriented principles, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, etc.
Experience with Java core and web development (3+ years professional level)
Experience with Microservices
Experience with Spring Application Framework
Experience with Microsoft Azure
Decision making and problem solving skills
Ability and attitude to learn new technologies
Strong communication skills
Excellent command in English Language (German is a plus)
Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plus
University degree in Computer Science or similar field
Your Responsibilities
You will be integrated into an international team of experts and be involved in the full project delivery lifecycle:
Review, analysis and estimation of requirements
Active communication/consulting with our customers
Software development and unit-testing
Participation in scrum processes and ceremonies
Performing code reviews
Knowledge exchange
