The 101st exhibition at foryouandyourcustomers presents works by Alexander Deubl in Munich.

In the tradition of geometric abstract art, Alexander Deubl develops his own unique visual language with his glass objects. His works transform passive observation into active participation and create immersive spaces of experience in which the boundaries between object, space, and perception become blurred.
Alexander Deubl (*1983, Munich) explores light, color, and perception in his work. Colored dichroic mirrors change depending on the viewing angle, making shapes and reflections appear fleeting and dynamic.
In the tradition of geometric abstract art, Op Art, and kinetic art, Deubl plays with optical illusions that bring space, light, and the viewer into a permanent dialogue. The fragmented mirrors prevent direct self-reflection, creating irritations between self-image and the materiality of light.
His works have been shown at the Berlin Biennale 2014 and Burning Man (USA), among others, can be found in important public and private collections, and have been presented in Munich institutions such as the Pinakothek der Moderne.
